By downloading, installing, or using Gratsi ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Description of Service

Gratsi is a tip calculator app that allows you to calculate tips manually or by scanning receipts with AI-powered image recognition. The app offers both free and premium features.

2. Free and Premium Features

Free Features: Manual tip calculator, bill splitting, and all calculator functionality. These features are available without payment or time limits.

Premium Features: AI receipt scanning via the device camera. Premium access requires an active subscription.

3. Subscriptions

Gratsi offers the following auto-renewable subscription options:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions at any time.

The free trial, if offered, automatically converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial period ends. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. In-App Purchases

Gratsi offers optional one-time tip purchases ($0.99, $2.99, $4.99) as a way to support the developer. These are voluntary, non-refundable consumable purchases that do not unlock any additional features.

5. AI Receipt Scanning

The AI scanning feature attempts to read your receipt and extract the total, subtotal, and tax amounts. While we strive for accuracy, the AI may occasionally misread values. You are responsible for verifying the extracted amounts before using them to calculate your tip. Gratsi is not liable for errors in AI-extracted values.

6. Accuracy Disclaimer

Gratsi is a calculator tool provided for convenience. Tip calculations are based on the values you enter or that the AI extracts from your receipt. We do not guarantee the mathematical accuracy of any calculation in all edge cases. You are responsible for verifying the final tip and total amounts.

7. No Account Required

Gratsi does not require you to create an account, provide personal information, or sign in. Your preferences are stored locally on your device.

8. Intellectual Property

The Gratsi name, logo, icon, and all visual assets are the property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app or its content.

Gratsi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The developer is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to incorrect tip calculations, failed scans, or service interruptions.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to premium features if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it and canceling any active subscription.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
